Info

The Cultural Broadcasting Archive is an open access database, which provides a big collection of radio contributions for the easy and cheap exchange between free radio stations. Radio shows, interviews, etc. can be stored and published on the server and can be shared with other stations and journalists. Futhermore it's a big pool of alternative media coverage.

It's free for everyone to download the audio files for private use.
To upload files it is necessary to own an account.
The commercial use of the audio files - even excerpts - is prohibited.

In 1999 the Cultural Broadcasting Archive has been developed by Manuela Mittermayr for the first time by order of Radio FRO 105,0 MHz. In 2001 the association of the free radios Austria (VFRÖ) took over the project.
Between September 2001 and April 2002 the archive has been designed and programmed all new by Ingo Leindecker, August Black and Roland Jankowski.
